Merry Christmas! I do say, you’ve nailed the perfect scene with the perfect message! I’ve been a fan of the Rippster since probably 2010, and you’ve drawn me in even deeper this Christmas season, Mr. Dan! Thank You!
just as point of information: “It seems plausible that the Magi were “overjoyed” at again seeing before them, as they traveled southward, “his star,” Jupiter, which at its stationary point was standing still over Bethlehem. We do know for certain that Jupiter performed a retrograde loop in 2 B.C. and that it was stationary on December 25, interestingly enough, during Hanukkah, the season for giving presents.” from “The Star of Bethlehem” Imprimis by Hillsdale College, by Craig Chester Past President, Monterey Institute for Research in Astronomy…it’s available online, wouldn’t let me post the url in here…He most certainly was born on Dec. 25th!
Excellent! While I love this strip for the satirization of action/adventure genre, the occasional sweet sentimental family factors especially during the holidays are also greatly enjoyed.
