Lolich was the winning pitcher. His home run really didn’t matter though since Detroit won 8-1. Detroit won the series 4 games to 3.

The first time I heard about Troutbeck Park Farm… and in my opinion more interesting than frozen sheep… was when Beatrix Potter potter bought it to stop developers building on it…

Well, if you’re going to only hit one home run in your whole career the World Series would be the time to do it!

That’s because sheep have been sent here from a far away galaxy as a messenger of hope and peace. They were trying to re-establish communication with their home planet and let them know that all is well here. Besides that, they taste good!

…some theorize it was a sudden drop in temperature." And it took 8 years to beat them? Lolich was more than happy with his 1968 World Series MVP Award. It took one well aimed bolt of lighting to end the fondue practice in East Africa.

And a great home run it was. And a great series, too. Off course, I am a Tiger fan …

He hit his one and only home run AT a World Series game? I thought you played IN games. He might have hit it AT the stadium where the game was played, but the way the sentence is structured it seems that it wouldn’t say AT the game. I’m just sayin…

And that’s why he was a pitcher. And why the DH was one of Charlie O Finley’s ideas to make baseball more exciting.

Mr. Freeze was battling Killer Frost and the sheep are just collateral damage. It must have been Victor Fries freeze gun that hit them, if it was Killer Frost’s power they wouldn’t have defrosted in a day.
