Tonight I present a humorous anecdote without any sort of preamble.
Oops…
A wealthy woman goes to her butler. “James,” she says, “I want you to take off my skirt.” He does so.“Now take off my blouse.” Again the butler complies.“Now remove my bra. Hurry, James!” The bra comes off.“And my panties, James. Take them off NOW.” Finally the panties, too, are off.“And now, James,” the woman concludes, “If I ever catch you wearing my clothes again, you’re fired!”
I always thought the driest place on earth was the county where Jack Daniels is made which ironically is a dry county! rim shot Fortunately for all of you I won’t be here all week!
So how much damage did the sky diver group do to the environment? If countries are worried about climate change that seems like a good thing to ban as it certainly produced a ton of pollution in a developing country that will be facing severe problems as the glaciers melt.
I think the RBION comic misstated about Quillagua. They probably should have stated that it is the driest town (or inhabited place) in the world. According the the below article the driest place in the world is in Antarctica in an area called the Dry Valleys. According to the article there is absolutely no precipitation and this area has seen no rain for nearly 2 million years.

A worthwhile expenditure of pressurized oxygen, the Thai Air Force deployment hours, and tons of jet fuel, I’m sure.
Take care, may ignored waste management analyst Dr. Phoebe “Hey, Turn Off That Light” Whipord be with you, and gesundheit.

There must be some water available to Quillagua. Somehow the trees in this picture are getting water.

300 tons of jet fuel?? Another unnecessary carbon footprint. And folks wonder why the climate is changing.
