Well, at least the groundhog couldn’t see his shadow in the claw machine.

And they kept finding it there day after day after day after day after … I wonder if the Warden was Ned Ryerson.

A documentary , “Monopoly” and it’s origin , on PBS’ American Experience is worth the time to view.

That would make paper the best choice on average.

That house with the Monopoly board floor is cursed. No family can live there long before fights break out, causing family members to flee in anger. If you think that’s bad, you should see the size of the dice and the tokens!

The owner couple tried to play the game using a real Scottish Terrier and Top Hat, but the dog wouldn’t stay or go where it was told

I can see mice, rats, perhaps even squirrels, but a groundhog does seem unusual. What I want to know is how does a toddler get into one of those things?

It would seem to me that, if fewer people are selecting scissors, then selecting them would result in slightly more wins, although it would also be informative as to which one is the most popular. So, if “rock” was the most popular, don’t use scissors. If “paper” is the most popular, do…

Whatever you do, don’t break a mirror over the groundhog’s head.

When my brother bought his first house our mom who lived with him at the time said she didn’t like carpet because they’re hard to keep clean so we pulled up a corner to see what was underneath… hardwood and it was in good shape so we pulled the rest of that carpet off.

Scissors may be the least popular … and in Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock, Spock is the most popular.

There is a city park in San Jose, CA with larger Monopoly board on the grounds. IIRC, it’s in Guadalupe Park near the river.

Giant Monopoly Board found under carpet.

Apparently that was thing back in the Fifties, and many people did it.

Finding a “TWISTER” game sheet painted on the floor under the carpet would have been more useful.

I wonder if they named the groundhog Gus, after the CGI spokesgroundhog for the Pennsylvania Lottery’s scratch games. He is often called “the second most famous groundhog in Pennsylvania.”
