From how high can you drop an egg onto a concrete floor without breaking it?

    Higher than you might think!

The structural integrity of a well laid concrete floor renders it virtually indestructible towards an incoming egg, even at terminal velocity.

I don’t believe that. Oh wait, gotta go by the strip title: I not believe that.

I understand the recipe for Roman era concrete was rediscovered this century.

Had to do a quick search on the ancient tomb item. It was in an olive grove on the island of Crete. If anyone was worried about the farmer, he was not injured. In fact, he was just getting set to drive off and look for a better parking spot when he noticed the hole in the ground.

They are experimenting with pumping treated waste water, locally, into the ground to raise the land higher to counter sea level rise.

Maybe the farmer can quit farming and use the site for a tourist attraction.

It took almost 2000 years before the secret of Roman hydraulic cement was rediscovered.

I remember a Mash episode about mixing cement titled Cementing Relationships, talk about miscommunication between Klinger and the surgeons. Mixing cement I liken to baking a cake, measurements need to be exact.

I wonder how the ground parked the farmers car.

14 shovels of gravel, 2 shovels of cement, add water to suit, mix thoroughly, (a cement mixer helps with that), put it where you want (a wheelbarrow helps with that).
