A PERSONAL FACT.

In 1975 (aged 7) l was traumatised by the head popping out of the hull in the movie ‘Jaws’ when l saw it at the cinema.

50 years on, the scene still triggers me when l watch it on tv.

The leader of the fishbreak was named Ella

I’ve been to The Galapagos, definitely a fun trip if you can make it! Although I saw plenty of lizards, I do not recall seeing any swimming in the oceans. Guess I’ll have to go back someday.

I looked it up. The anglerfish is that weird hideous fish with the huge mouth full of needly teeth and a tentacle coming out of its head with a light at the end. These fish look like mythical monster fish. It hunts in the depths, using it’s light thing to attract curious prey. Weird that it would be swimming near the surface of the ocean.

Escaped farm raised salmon are an ecological disaster here in the PNW. I imagine it’s the same in Norway.
