A lot of Good TV Show ratings fall because of Sports Season… -Some of them Good Shows don’t go pass the First Season/Pilot-Show or Stop mid-way and are FOREVER Stuck in Cliffhanger Limbo, sadly… -Many (could have been great) Sci-Fi or Comedy Shows die so young…

I still don’t get the fascination some people have with watching a much of millionaires move a football up and down a field.

Is Guppet the Puppet a TV show or a game?

Frustrating — before I signed on to post, there was an eloquent post that referenced the song “MacArthur Park,” but now I don’t see it. Somehow it got scrubbed. Anyway, to whomever posted it, thanks for the memories. And to jenbrown1017, yep, sometimes love requires a little sacrifice. Very cool dad.

I’m tired of having sports (especially football) go into overtime and screw up the rest of the TV schedule. I like “The Good Wife” but it’s been late several times because of football. I do record it on my DVR and set it to stop recording at least one hour afterwards in case a football game goes into overtime. I wish CBS would move “The Good Wife” back to Friday night. Except then it might conflict with “Grimm.”

We had one T.V. for a family of 5. We survived. Now there is only the two of us, still one T.V. and only one computer (d.t.) but we have two cell phones. Only one gets used(hers).

An easier thing to do is to teach your children not to be addicted to television. My husband and I have had a firm rule for our 2 kids: anything they watch can only be viewed once in a 3-day stretch. No “rewind and play again” in this house. We also encourage them to play. We’ve never had a battle for the TV.
