Feeding Agni.

Gives a different perspective of feeding a fire.

It’s a way to use the stored up carbon in the wood. But Fireplaces tend to make an ash of themselves.

Or feeding Calcifer.

A friend who had a wood burning furnace would drop off a little wood for our fireplace now and then. Once he said, “You don’t use much firewood.” I replied, “You use it to heat your house. We use it to decorate the living room.”

C’mon Peekaboo, you know you’ll watch for about 3 seconds, then fall asleep.

Nothing makes a fire place more happy than having a lot of people sit around and watch it eat.

We had a house in Plattsburgh, NY. We knew when it was time to light the woodstove when the cats all lined up in front of it.
