Perhaps Jimbo’s “sound effects” are hampering your visualizations Rose.

Vickie visualizes a tropical island too, but on hers the volcano is active.

The tropical beach scene is nice. But my beach scene visualization is being anchored in a nice little cove in B.C. or S.E. Alaska. Watching the eagles soar overhead, and some big mother brown bear with her cubs on the shore looking for food, (probably clams), and some seals sunning themselves on some rocks, and a cool but bracing wind coming down from snow covered mountains. All this while sitting on the deck of my boat, with my lovely first mate snuggled beside me and a cup of hot chocolate in my hand. And nary a boat in sight. Just the artistry of the Lord in a new spring day.

Unfortunately for me, like Rose, all it will ever be is a visualization. (sigh)

I have to wonder what Rose needs to visualize for. She seems to have the perfect life.

Poor Rose…almost there and then snapped back into reality!

Kind of like the ending of Brazil.

PERFECT second panel. All I’d need is a hammock, a stack of books, and a magic table that constantly produces tasty snacks. . .

Well, she tries all the help she can have. I would just stay away of the breath.

At least Jimbo’s not wearing a Speedo.

As Magically beautiful as our visualizations can be, harsh Reality will always jump up and bite us in the ass when we least expect it.

Aren’t Jimbo and Rose somewhere in the Midwest? No salt water there…

Dressing the part does help in the visualization process….

I like her swimsuit- no butt crack, no cleavage.

From the view out of the window, why isn’t she doing that outdoors?

Same here. A vacation is badly needed in this era of pandemic.
