My day is full of conference calls, collaborations, and 1-on-1s. I wish they would all just go away…

…but then my life would be meetingless.

My office has started requiring people to be on camera and properly dressed for videoconferences. Apparently everyone was told to turn on their camera to ensure that they were paying attention and one person was in shorts and a halter top.

Putting Mimi to sleep is a priority. The meeting can wait.

and the last thing you want during the conference is the sound of a fussy baby wailing at the top of her lungs!

Only conference type calls (Zoom online) I have been on is for the 2 clubs I belong to.

My embroidery chapter (all women) had no problem with everyone signing in and staying signed in.

Our reenactment unit (mixed men, women and 2 older boys) has people dropping off the meeting, coming back. have no picture, have no sound, have neither, have to sign out, sign back in ….

Makes no sense to me at all. Which is the more common situation?
