Thylacoleo was a leopard sized marsupial that once lived in Australia during the late Pliocene to the Late Pleistocene. Though it’s often known/referred as a marsupial “lion”, it’s large skull IMO, strongly resembles some monstrous squirrel like head rather than a lion or any other known carnivore. IMO, it probably was more of an omnivore like squirrels and other rodents sometimes are.
