I like to run in the local park on trails where I regularly see turkeys, quail, deer, snakes, coyotes, bobcats and farm animals. I hear various hikers speaking at least three foreign languages, some taking pictures of the wildlife and teaching children about them. So I’m amazed when see some hikers out there plugged up with airpods and staring at their phones. Why come to the park for that?
I think it’s obvious that what Fillmore did was put his phone on Face Time while he was eating the jellyfish and sent it to Ernest as a ploy to gross him out into getting off of his phone.
I’ve had jellyfish – looks like a glass noodles, but very “al dente”. Served salad style at a Vietnamese place I used to go to. I prefer the version of the salad with octopus, which, at a Japanese restaurant, is a tako salad. ;)

Sea turtles make peanut butter fish and jellyfish sandwiches.

I assume they have a different kind of TikTok that humans can’t look at, and that’s why no one knows they have phones

Thank goodness that they do eat them. It’s nature’s balance….

Not even the grossest part. To keep the jellies in and expel excess water sea turtles have these retractable spine like things in their throats.

If you’ll eat snot-on-a-shell (oysters), you’ll eat anything.

I have seen turtle rescues where the turtle tried to swallow a plastic bag thinking it was a jelly fish. Sad!

How do turtle eat jellyfish and not get stung?

15+ years running home aquariums taught me that anything that floats may be food for a fish. Even the tiny Neon Tetra is a “micro predator”!!
