That’s one strange family.

Megan has gotten wise since seeing the guru.

Someday when technology advances and remotes are no longer used, folks will be nostalgic about them as we are about telephone dials and disposable cameras.

It’s a remote. It’s just a thing and it’s replaceable.

Buy new one and he will promptly find the old one, happens every time.

That’s definitely akin to the Garfield comics, where the TV remote will sometimes turn up missing.

Excellent opportunity to angle for a TV upgrade

It was one of Sherman’s crunchy snacks.

Those “universal” remotes are seldom “universal” They may work the channels and volume but they often can’t perform all the functions the TV is capable of.

Finding the remote is easy. Finding batteries when the ones in it go dead, THAT’S tricky. Finding the manual when you need to figure out how to use the TV without the remote, that’s IMPOSSIBLE.
