Risky my fanny. Hawthorne is a main character and we all know they are protected from harm.

It is out of character for him. I foresee him hitting the first difficulty and pushing someone else in to finish the rescue.

Next time, Hawthorne, keep it short and sweet, though more short and not-so-sweet.

As soon as I saw the last panel, I thought “Talk to the claw”.

So he is entering through the sewer?

Yeah, why is he trying to rescue Earl here?
