Not a whole lotta grape soda these days. I’ll bet it’s what Jesus changed water into that day, Nehi grape soda. Heck of a guy, Jesus.

On an unrelated note, I just read an ad for candy, flavored with “cacao juice”. Uh, isn’t that chocolate syrup? (At an inflated price?)

Megan obviously knew that Hawthorne would ask.

Sherm, what are you doing ordering grape soda at a bar? Get a beer my guy.

Sherman looks and acts like he would rather be facing a pod of ravenous orcas than doing Megan’s dirty work…

But can Sherman remember it right to repeat back to her? Then it’d be even different (better?) gossip. Does he know how to write it down?

It should occur to Hawthorn that he can charge an extra “gossip fee” for those who want to catch up on the local news.

Hawthorne is going to shut down the bar. It’s becoming too much work.
