I use muenster cheese, Jimmy Dean sausage patties, and Thomas’ English muffins to make my own sausage, egg and cheese McMuffin. Umm, delish! (Egg rings are a Godsend) :)
Considering that the occasionally reliable Wikipedia states that Muenster is an American knock-off of a French cheese, I’d say this gag doesn’t hold water.

@Calamity JaneYou don’t need an egg ring. Use the outer ring from a thick slice of a large onion, such as a Vidalia.

Although Muenster cheese itself isn’t German, the name is, so is this an attempt by those Scots who want to leave the UK to court favor with the EU?
