Thanks to incredible luck. I survived. The guy she left me for didn’t. She shot him. Dead. The b***** got by with it. Insanity plea. I coulda told them she was crazy.
Let’s see, they’ve done a Flamenco, an Irish Jig, and a Bristol Stomp on mine in divorce court – not to mention what they did to my bank account.
I finally realized, that you might as well give ‘em the house and the car upfront. They were gonna get ’em anyway.

It’s not hard to get divorced – just in most cases, more expensive than getting married. But, considering all the hoops my currant bride and I had to jump through, and all the difficulties and paperwork we had to overcome to get married, I never want to think about divorce. Besides, this lovely woman is a keeper. We’ve been together three years and every day it gets better and better. There’s a lot to be said to marrying when you are old enough to know better but also old enough to know you’d better !
Sometimes, the house fight was just the opposite – when the mortgage was more than the value! You can have it – no you take it!Women come in two categories:1. Those that leave you2. Those you wish would!

Well, that happened to me twice and, like the dummy I am, it still lasted, ever since I was about 13, 63 years now.

All he needs to do is find a woman he doesn’t like and buy her a house. That saves a lot of time and attorneys’ fees.

Getting married should be as hard as getting divorced; that would straighten out a lot of things.

P.S. Divorced in 1968, never ever married again. Once was enough.
