A grave mistake, Biz.

It’s your funeral.

Do you know where you will plant it?

You’re next.

If you can still catch at your age, Biz, you´ve got years left.

Before I saw the flowers, I thought he was talking about an odor.

Oops.

Who threw it? The analogy would suggest it was the corpse. Wouldn’t that make the burial a bit premature? Edgar Allan Poe, where are you when we need you?

When I was much younger, Death was a figure barely noticed as He took away people I barely knew. As I aged, He became more visible as He came for people I knew quite well. Now that I am old, He pauses to smile and wave at me. Sometimes He even calls out my name, “Hi! See you soon!”, He says….

Why do we still bury people?
