The great Ian Tyson once said all he knew was horses and music. He also said that he thought about adding women to that list, but then thought better.

I’ve interacted with many ladies and married the most beautiful of them, they can be capricious and mysterious but they are magical in many ways!

I am still with my first wife of 42 years. I fix things that are broken, do laundry, enjoy cooking, and nod my head and say “Yes dear”.

I have, over the years, learned a lot about women. Unfortunately, 99% of it is ineffable.

It makes me think of a book I once saw in a “specialty shop” (use your imagination). The title on the cover was “Everything Men Know About Women” and inside was nothing but blank pages.

The best advice I ever heard about dealing with women is, in a disagreement, if you’re wrong, admit it. If you’re right, keep your mouth shut!
