Considering that airplanes pretty much fly themselves from start to finish, it is not really a big stretch.

when he works at home he just puts it on auto-pilot and then goes to the den to watch sports…

I have often wondered what need birds have of an airplane.

May those guys should fly with their own power like other birds.

Why do birds need an airplane?

I wonder if they’ll have a totally automated jet. Able to take off and land all on its on.

Flying by remote control like the plane is a drone.

A long time ago, I took a short flight on a small airliner. There were about 6 passengers. Before we took off the co-pilot turned around and told us to let them know if we needed anything. Us passengers spent the rest of the flight thinking of things we might ask for. “Where’s the bathroom? When is lunch? Where’s the stewardess?”

Fly by wire. Hope the cord’s long enough.

Wait. They’re birds. Wouldn’t that be normal for the attendant?

We have legs for moving around yet invented other forms of transportation, including boats and airplanes. Birds have wings for flying (with some exceptions), but didn’t invent airplanes.

Why is it that any of the feathered inhabitants of Treetop need airplanes? I’m a grumpy old stickler for details.

Most large aircraft are self-driving, somewhat. It’s the self take-off and landing they haven’t quite mastered yet.
