As you get older, for many people you lose your fear of death and are quite OK with talking about it. That seems to make younger (those 50 or less) uncomfortable.

Me is getting married? Isn’t he a too old for baby talk?

Also, heard that the widow Palmer is a real looker too! She has most of her teeth and both of her knees are upgraded!

Maybe they had to get married.

Consummating the marriage will probably send both of them to Mort’s!

It is an interesting thing. A lot of elderly folks may want to get married but they can’t afford it. Not the wedding but what getting married does to their retirement benefits. So we find a lot of old folks just “shacking up” which would have upset their parents when the couple was young.
