Instead of a North American style BBQ with a grate they should use an Aussie style BBQ with a griddle top. Works great with everything. Now living in Canada and I miss the coin operated gas BBQs in the park. :o(

You could always stuff a few worms into an intestinal casing.
Add an egg to the ground meat, it helps it stay together. Send your buddy to ask your wife to pick one from the nest.
