This is why I much prefer puns and other purely mental twistiness: The pain is entirely virtual (except when people throw things that are too sharp or heavy).

Bob’s purpose in life was to make people laugh!

I think God created us for comic relief.

The ability to laugh at oneself proves two things: (1) they will put something on your death certificate, but it will not be a stress-related disease and (2) you have a strong self-image and confidence in yourself: you’re “big enough to take the hits.”

I like to make people laugh even if it is at my own expense. I take the people in my life seriously, but I don’t take myself seriously.

I thought you had to climb mountains to find answers.

Bob in the 2nd panel looks a lot like Dilbert.
