Here in Seattle, the city paid a good deal of money for a mural a few years ago…and a stupid city employee came along, thought that it was a graffito, and sandblasted it.
I love seeing this kind of graffiti. There’s a freight train that regularly goes near where I live, and if I’m lucky enough to be walking nearby when it comes, I can enjoy a traveling art show.

In a way, there is a truism here- there are places where taggers have had their artistic talents recognised, and even some sponsored competitions.

I wonder where they found a wall willing to pose nude like that?

Having just returned from 2 weeks in Italia, I must declare Napoli to be the most graffitzed city in the world.
And I will add, I would like 10 minutes (and a baseball bat) with the punks who spray pre-medeval walls in Roma .
