One of the lady engineers at our start-up company brought her toddler to work. We had a computer room where several identical tower computers were running (1980s). That little kid dashed down the row of computers systematically switching each one off! Mom was stunned. I couldn’t stop laughing. The president was unhappy. It took a day and a half to recover. From then on we used duct tape.

We taped visiting kids to chairs…………(joking)

Poor Val! Joan’s inability to be organized is messing up her day. Val’s job keeps them all afloat. If she has daycare for Max, why doesn’t she get a job with a salary and benefits?

My favorite memory of my two year old brother was in a crowded two story Sears store in Tampa in 1960. From his modest eye level he saw a red button at the foot of the up escalator. He pushed it. Screaming halt 9 people fell down. Bloody knees, a hysterical floor manager. I was a proud big brother admiring the chaos.
