“You know what makes me sad? YOU DO!!! Maybe we should chug on over to mamby pamby land and maybe we can find some self confidence for you – you jack wagon! Tissue? [throws the box out of reach from the client] You cry baby!”
In 1976 the separatist Party Quebecois won the election in Quebec by a narrow margin. The day after the party leader Rene Levesque told everyone to take a tranquilizer pill. 40 years later and Quebec is still part of Canada. To my American friends I say “Take a pill!”. 4 years from now the US will still be the greatest country in the world.
What’s your philosophy? “Every man for himself,” or “We’re all in this together?” To paraphrase Satre, “If we didn’t have ‘THEM’ we’d have to invent ‘THEM.’”"
"W"’s election gave me pause, and Iraq and Afghanistan, and the creation of ISIL due to his policies, and Cheney et al, remain a warning, ignored with the election of Trump, by a minority, again, of the popular vote.
The selection of Trump’s administration, IS viewing the strangest brew of all time. The folks being selected ARE from that same era of error, if you liked Iraq, you’re gon’na love Iran, or wherever this insanity leads down the path of hate, war, and profits for the morality exempt.
Just keep right on chuckling Trump supporters. Paul Ryan is already writing the legislation to take away your Medicare and Social Security, the pipelines are going to go in across the heartland that will burst and poison all the water in 8 states. So go right on chuckling. I do wonder who you’re going to blame when you lose everything. Can’t blame the scary black man this time like you did for the Republican obstruction and destruction.
Jack75287: Trump’s election, and now his selectees from the deepest pool of total crazies, crooks, and bigots, seriously, has my PTSD severely “active”, and no, it’s certainly NO JOKE! I didn’t intend any humor about it the first time mentioned! Meds and my talks with my PTSD shrink are barely “toning things down”, but barely.
Even with “W” I had deep concerns, but there were some rational minds left in Congress, a few, even if they did get conned by all Cheney/Rusfeld/ et al’s lies to get us into Iraq and Afghanistan.
Rational people looking at what Trump’s able to do, with a selection of the nuttiest of the right running things in the House and Senate can take from the movie trailer, “be afraid, be VERY afraid!” And that’s no joke, either!

Know the feeling, and it’s not post, and it’s upsetting my PTSD.

@Bruno — There’s no point in an impeachment at this point. Obama’s only got a few months left as it is.

Loved that movie.
I’ve always wanted to be that special self-medicated person whose dreams create our reality.

For those whose candidate did not win, as Mr. Obama said in January 2009, “Elections have consequences—and at the end of the day, I won.”
Now it’s Mr. President Elect Trump’s turn to say that.

So now this childishness is being termed a ‘syndrome’! Only the loony left could drum up such an absurdity!
