Not only an optimist, but a delusional dreamer, he wants to start a trio with a banjo player and a bagpiper.

Accordion to him, it’s a decent living.

if he’s cheap, I’d hire him to play for some “friends” of mine who hate accordion music. He’d make some money and they’d get educated. yes, of course, I would warn him!!!! svspjbkhdi

Who in the devil would want an hour of accordion music?

Why is it so many cartoonists dislike accordion music. Some of us are quite all right with it. Perhaps their relatives that played accordion weren’t that good? so bad memory? Maybe I was lucky and the relatives that played accordions when I was a kid were really good, and left good memories instead.

I did think of one of my favorites…..Judy Tenuta.

Ravelli: “Well, for playing we get $10 an hour.”

Spalding: “How much do you get for not playing?”

Ravelli: “$12 an hour.

Now, for rehearsing, we get special rates: $15 an hour.”

Spalding: “$15 an hour? And how much do you get for not rehearsing?”

Ravelli: “You couldn’t afford it.

You see, if we don’t rehearse, we don’t play, and that runs into money.”
