Mr. Sun sinks into the beckoning waves to retire after a busy day, and Mrs. Moon is now ready to guide us through the darkness that will ensue.

I love a good sunset, and this is beautifully drawn. Tiny point, “it’s” is the contraction for “it is”. “Its” (no apostrophe) is “belonging to it”. Like hers, ours, yours and theirs, there’s no apostrophe in its.

By the way… that would be the Gulf of Mexico, not the Atlantic Ocean, but “Gulf” wouldn’t work for the poem.

As I sit , looking for the green dot/ a cold beer I have not/ But straight to the point/ I’d rather have a fat joint/ it’s time to legalize pot.

I’d like a beer or grapefruit shandy.
