The NHL should increase to 7ft x 5ft nets and keep adjusting until they get about 7.5 goals per game. Right now it is closer to 5 gag and the game is too defensive.
From yesterday to various people:Tank was originally a defensive player (one of my favorites was his explanation of why he played football: “I got to hurt people, and it was legal.”) Quite recently by comparison Mr. Hinds turned him into an ex-offensive lineman, to highlight his “gentle giant” personality. So if a former offensive lineman is doing better with the ladies than a former star quarterback, it is something a bit similar to “revenge of the nerds” in some ways!
When I played soccer, about 50 years ago, I was tall for a goalkeeper at a tad over 6’ . Bob Cousy at 5’10" ( or less ) was my hero on the Celtics , as a kid.Do to better nutrition and health care, the world is growing taller. Hockey is no exception. However… height doesn’t automatically give the goalie an advantage. While he might seem to have the edge in appearing to block the net, agility and rapid reflexes are far more important.
