He’s soon going to be joining a “Costco Addicts Support Group”..While I’ve never “overbought” on any Single product, I have occasionally found myself with both Freezers & Refrigerators stuffed to capacity..I just count myself lucky that my house Came with two refrigerators…

Lately, lots of fruit is in season, so I tend to fill my refrigerator at least once a week. It goes down fast.

I almost forgot, there’s a hot dog eating contest every July 4 in New York. So, “Classic” hot dogs come under more than one brand name; until now, I thought Bar S was the one and only brand of “Classic” hot dogs.

You have to go to Germany to get a Real “Classic” hot dog. Also known as a Frankfurter Würstchen..From Wikipedia:The name “Frankfurter” is mainly famous for the Frankfurter Würstel used in hot dogs and are called Wiener Würstchen in Germany. They were made by Johann Georg Lahner (1772-1845), a butcher trained in Frankfurt, who began to produce sausages in 1805 in Vienna from a mixture of pork and beef. They were successful in Austria, North America and other countries; though called “Frankfurters”, they do not describe the “real” ones..By the way, one of the distinctions is that the Original recipe doesn’t use Any of the “Nitrate” family of preservatives resulting in a much different Flavor than the American “hot dog”.Also, the original is a Pure Pork sausage..

Some of the Best Hot Dogs ever were the LUM’s Chain’s “Hot Dogs Steamed in Beer”..Sadly, mismanagement pretty well Killed the chain and, these days, there are only two locations left..Mismanagement as in: Removing the Signature Item from the Top of the Menu and trying to become an Arby’s Clone. .
