So all those pampered tennis players can go out & work at Walmart, Amazon or any of the other companies that are hiring right now! They can do actual work!
If you want to “play games” for a living, then you live by the rules. Just because the team players are waaayyyy over-paid, doesn’t mean the individual sport players are under-paid. Perhaps, if the emphasis on sports was removed, many athletes would be nurses, orderlies, or even doctors; much more useful right now.
The last three times I’ve been in my local Caribou Coffee (limiting myself to once a week), the baristas, two of them, out-numbered the customers all the while I was there. I’m not sure the store is going to manage to stay open much longer.
Cry me a river. If you’re a player inside the top 50, you’ll qualify for every grand slam tournament and are probably earning at least $500,000 per year in prize money Learn to budget and you would be fine.

Who else would be in the same boat? Bowlers, race car drivers, wrestlers……feel free to add to the list.
