“Slow,” “Steady” and “Frenzied” don’t really go together, do they?
I know ERB used “giant” to describe all of his heroes, but the artist in this strip does not seem to get that whole “ubermensch” vibe that T-man is supposed to exude like ape funk.
So the fact that Tarzan is carrying a bow and arrows, and wearing leopard print speedos doesn’t make him stand out from all the drunks in their diapers?

After 3 beers: Tarzan decides, “Maybe I have misjudged these guys.”
After 4 beers: “Heck, these guys aren’t so bad after all.”
After 5 beers: “I’m going to be the winner of the dance contest.”
After 6 beers: Finds himself hand in hand with his new made friends as they circle the campfire and sing Kumbaya.
