Except we were at Yard & Garden Land today and a pretty black cat appeared at my feet. I reached down to pet him (her?) and he rolled over and so I rubbed his tummy. Lots of paw air kneading and purrs! I don’t know who loved it more, him or me!

Meanwhile in Canada…….

It was, of course, terrible that hunters killed all the grizzlies in California but it does make hiking solo much, much safer.
