I spent most of yesterday at the cancer center of the local hospital getting a powerful next generation antibiotic for my foot. While it’s too soon to see if the antibiotic will work on my foot, it certainly has worked on the beneficial bacteria in my intestines (if you know what I mean). So I am posting two days of pictures from my sources on the interwebs.

Totally off- topic, I know, but there are a lot of great people out there and I have a question for you. My peach tree is so loaded with peaches, the branches are drooping to the ground. I hope to have a lot of ripe peaches in a week or two. Anyone have some good recipes I can use for those peaches – maybe some peach jam or something? Too many peaches to eat and they always turn brown when I try freezing them. Any help would be appreciated.

Thought you would like to know, I AM HOME !!! Still a bit sore, but getting arojnd quite with my borrowed walker. Should shed that at 2 week appt.

Peaches? I love them, but mostly just eat them or make ice cream. Cobblers are nice tons of recipes for those. Going to try to find some pics today, but got to take care of all my “kids” first. Four babies and a feral mom to tend with. Cute as they can be. Play nice everyone..finally cooling off in Central California.

Laughing Kitty – A bushel of really ripe peaches mashed, put in the freezer until ready, will make a gallon of the best ever peach brandy. Great on any dessert, especially ice cream.
