I wonder how many more times someone is going to predict the world is coming to an end before it finally happens? I’ve lost count how many times the world has been predicted to end just in my lifetime.

And yet here we all are…..

July 17 is:

National Lottery Day

National Hot Dog Day

World Emoji Day

National Yellow Pig Day (I have never seen a yellow pig!)

National Tattoo Day. Not for me!

National Wrong Way Corrigan Day

National Peach Ice Cream Day. And I still have only chocolate and vanilla ice cream in my freezer.

Comments from yesterday – I actually did plant spinach in peat pots early in the spring (or maybe it was before spring) but it never came up. I didn’t try planting more when spring planting time came. I meant to, but didn’t do it. I also meant to spend just a little time working in my garden yesterday, but I was out there longer than I planned. But I got some good stuff done, including picking some green beans which I enjoyed eating for dinner. And I have leftovers for tomorrow. I even got enough to take some to work tomorrow to sell for the Children’s Miracle Network.

I’d be very grateful if anyone could tell me why we are seeing these Haystack Rock Cartoons instead of Ten Cats and, if possible, when TCs might be back.

If I could, I would. Sadly, I can’t.

I’m really enjoying seeing the build up to Ten Cats!

These animals are so cute. I really love the drawing of the cat in the second panel. It looks like a sweeter version of Chesney, but Chesney would never sit next to a lowly canine.
