I’ve rarely seen such bliss on a cat’s face as when you scratch them under their chins. Melts my heart. :)

Awww. Although Ches is probably the last cat you would want to scritch under the chin. Scold yes, scritch not so much!

My cousins Garage sale went great Friday and great up until about 10:30 on Saturday and then… nothing. We closed at two and the reason for no customers became apparent. Someone stole all her signs!

All 6 of them on multiple corners! Unbelievable!

Today is:

National Sisters Day. Too bad my sister and I live in different stats and I have to work and she is busy too.

National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. I have a few of those in my cookie jar!

National Coast Guard Day

Had a really busy week, and next couple of weeks looks like they will be also. I’ve skimmed my comic strips during the week, I will have to go back and read through the comments some other time. Tabby update: My cat is 14 years old and healthy. That being said, he shows no interest in eating anymore. We are desperately trying to find something, anything that he will eat before it’s too late. He jumps on my lap for his nightly treats, sniffs at it, jumps off, and leaves. He will eat a few bites of tuna. It’s as if he’s given up on living. Monday, I’m going to beg the vet for something to stimulate his appetite before he does irreparable damage to himself. I am depressed. I now understand why my dad wouldn’t let us have pets (actually dogs) when I was a kid). Tabby is my first cat. He was 3 when I inherited him when my mom died. I have hopes he will live 5 or 6 more years.

Is it just for skritches and kibble that we live?

Dear Fellow Graham Crackers,

I am asking for prayers, boops, hugs, and GOOD thoughts for Tuesday, 6 August.

I’m having surgery to fix a broken wire in my heart to attach to a new ICD being re-installed.

This new ICD has an extra wire, so the doc will try to detach and cap the busted wire, and wiggle two new ones into the heart…attach into the heart, then the other end will be attached to a new ICD.

Of the two wires, one replaces the bad one, and a new one “plugs in” to a new part of the heart.

I should be OK, but there’s always a danger with ANY time you have surgery.

I’m asking now because I’m not sure if I will have time to tomorrow.

Saw a millipede while out walking today. I have nothing against millipedes, but I’d rather see them outside than inside.
