Today is:

National Food Day. I eat food every day! Actually, this is about eating healthy food. I don’t always do that.

National Mother-In-Law Day

National Bologna Day. Having Bologna Day the same Day as Food Day doesn’t make sense because Food day is about healthy food, which bologna is not.

You should try it kitties, you might enjoy some exercise!!!

Off topic: we got our Moderna boosters yesterday. I called all around asking if they were available. We don’t have a Rite Aid or CVS so when I say ‘all around’, I mean the grocery store where we get our shots, Walgreens and a local family pharmacy. The answer was NO. This applies to places in St George, too. On the way to St G, we stopped at WalMart and ran in to see if they had them, YES! And, no line or waiting. She said the line was like 50 people long yesterday. I think it was the first day the Moderna was available.This was around 11:00 AM. Our arms got sore about 7PM and are still sore this morning but they’re no worse than the second shot for me. It’s actually better for Brad because he was down for two day with chills and nausea after his second shot.

The swallow song, “When the Swallows Return to Capistrano,” always makes me remember the Disney parody, “When the Vultures Return to Hinkle.” It’s too late in the year for canning in most of the US. I didn’t get to do my pickles this year because the vinegar was bought out by all those folks now into gardening courtesy of the pandemic. iPods are now all but extinct. I could no longer load new stuff on mine a few years ago because it was stuffed with new software updates, and my new iMac doesn’t have the old USB port on it. Farewell, old friend.

Hinckley, Ohio, hon. Did you try looking online for the vinegar ?  Have you tried looking online for an adapter for your iMac ?  You might be surprised at what you can find.

There is a sandwich shop in the college district in Fort Collins called Avaogadro’s Number. Met with some Gocom posters there about 11 years back. Had a great 4 hours plus together. Where does the time go ? :-o

Been running a bit behind as Whisperflicker and me have been moving my stuff back from the other place. She is settling nicely into the other space in this building. We will be here for at least awhile while owner, Cindy, works through the county to keep this place viable. “Monkey business”, by the builder who set this place up years ago is in some contention. Hoping it doesn’t wind up being razed.

I have a dumb question.

Kiki is the first cat that i have ever been around that would rather eat catnip than roll in it.

Is this anything like normal?

Cats would never be able to wait to stretch until the seventh inning.

I prefer cats, but dogs are nice too. (Well, most dogs anyway.) On another note, saw two varied thrushes while out walking today.
