Well the surgery is tomorrow. They did a endoscopy today and no bleeding from her stomach, just 2 ulcers. Not going to say anything about living with my son in law…. I ended up having a hamburger patty and baked beans, it was pretty good too!

A trip to the library is in order. Tried to take a hike in the snow yesterday up to one or two lakes, depending on the depth. My car temp read 34 and I was dressed for it – except I wasn’t. The snow was a soft slog and there wasn’t even the tiniest breeze – I was overheated in 20 minutes and my pack couldn’t hold all the extra layers so I turned back. Apparently I can only hike in the shade or when it’s dark! At least I saw one nice big fresh bear paw print. Small storm coming in Monday, if I see clouds over the mountains I’ll try again. It’s just 20 minutes up the hill and the only road to the trailheads not yet closed.

I bought nothing today. You’d have to pay me major bucks to wander among the lunatics in the stores. I’m just back from one of my siblings’ homes for Thanksgiving. My sister is an awesome cook, and everything was wonderful.

I got my TC Christmas ornaments today. They’re bigger than I expected them to be. They’re fairly lightweight and are made of some sort of lightweight wood. They’re oval shaped and 5 inches long and 3.75 inches wide at the center.I’ll try to post photos on imgur.

In this case, it would be more like curiosity got the cat sent to the loading dock. Highly doubt Annie would approve of Chesney reading that particular book. On another note, saw seven crows and a rabbit while out walking today.

Either way, he’s asking for it!
