I wouldn’t trust those two with a knife or any other carving tool.

The garage is all set up for the sale tomorrow ans Saturday! Yesterday Kat decided we needed some larger size clothes, so off we went to the Salvation Army Bins. That’s the store where they throw everything on tables and you dig through them. And pay by the pound. You can find name brands, but you have to dig. Came back and washed everything and we found name brands! I even got a nice fuzzy zip up jacket for winter. We have so much stuff, wish us luck!

This reminds me of the Charlie Brown special, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” when the girls used Charlie Brown’s head as a model for decorating their pumpkin.

Chesney!!!! I was going to use today to reorganize my house before I bring home the new cat Sunday, but coming back from a hike yesterday I passed some of the most glorious aspens yet this year. About an hour away at a popular drive to lake that I usually avoid, but a storm rolls in Sunday with wind rain and snow, so I’m heading back out today for what may be my last chance for a year. What a glorious season we have had!!

Well, that was rotten. Wish Chesney could have found a face for his Jack-o-lantern without upsetting Annie. On another note, saw a junco, a squirrel, a wren, and a chipmunk while out walking today.
