Happy Valentines Day!

So they don’t make great tailors. They are excellent paper shredders!

Today is:

NATIONAL ORGAN DONOR DAY

CREAM-FILLED CHOCOLATES DAY

NATIONAL FERRIS WHEEL DAY. Not ferris wheel weather! It’s cold (down to zero degrees right now) and by afternoon, we’re expecting more snow. Maybe 4 inches or maybe more. One model the weather report showed had us getting 11 inches of the white stuff. The other 3 models showed 4 – 5 inches. I hope those 3 are closer. I’d prefer less than 4 inches.

And for Valentines Day I received a leak in the Laundry Room ceiling. I bent down to take the clothes out of the dryer and realized I was staring at a puddle on the floor. At first I thought it was the Washer, until it dripped on my head. Aww, the house still loves me. Didn’t even rain that hard. Whoever thought that tile roofs in a golf community was a good idea should be jailed.

Ya’ might as well make ‘em clam diggers, they’re already high waters !

Happy Valentine’s Day to all! My present was a much needed good soaking rain over the last day and a half with feet of snow in the Sierra.

A crate (empty, plastic) fell on my left foot (right on the bunion) yesterday. Such agony the rest of the day and all through the night. Swelling is down this morning. I had planned on going to the Walk In Medical place at Stop and Shop today if it was still as bad.

The cats were no help as two (Oliver and Dudley) kept sleeping on my lower legs, weighing the quilt down. ME-OWWWWWWW.

Does anyone watch Tinykittens HQ? The Valentine card Tomball gave to Hibbing is adorable…and the toys, etc. are a hoot. I am hooked.

Reminds me of that Three Stooges short (Sing a Song of Six Pants) where they brush off a customer’s jacket, unaware that a razor blade somehow got in the broom. Surprisingly, he liked the shredded jacket so much, he asked for a matching pair of pants! On another note, saw four varied thrushes while out walking today.
