They will keep moving over and you’ll be off the edge anyway. The sofa os quite comfy I hear.

Sure! And then the cats take over the couch too! Then they tell you that the floor is free for you to sleep on.

Speaking of beds, I had a hard time getting to sleep on Friday night because there was a cat (I’m pretty sure it was Raven) playing under my bed. But when I looked under the bed, I couldn’t see the cat. It was sort of dark in the room since I only had the lamp on rather than the overhead light. Well, when I got up in the morning, I took another look under my bed. I had a suspicion that the cat had been playing inside the box spring. Sure enough, I saw a few holes in the underside of the box spring. Plenty big enough for a cat to climb through. Well, I’ve fixed that now. It was a job, but I pulled the mattress and box spring off my bed (that mattress is HEAVY!!!) and I put a mattress protector on the box spring. I intended to buy one of the zippered mattress protectors, but when I opened the package, I realized that I had bought a fitted one. Well, it works, so that’s what I used. I have another mattress pad on the top side of the box spring. So, at least for a while, there will be no more cats playing in my box spring while I’m trying to sleep. Tough luck, Raven!

That’s exactly what happens with my cat. We go to sleep, we each have half the bed. I wake up during the night and somehow she’s right in the center and I’m uncomfortably close to the edge! She’s almost 17 years old…how does she do that??!

I’m lucky my cats sleep through the night and don’t crowd me.

Or on the floor if your cat shredded the couch.

Kiki likes to hide when she sleeps. It’s the dogs that have taken over the bed.

Hazy often likes to sleep under the covers and snuggle close. But I have to help —-she paws at the covers untiI I lift them up for her to crawl under and get comfy.

I guess I’m lucky, my cats won’t sleep in the bed if I’m in it. Once I’m up and about, though, it’s not unusual to see all four in various poses of relaxation and oblivion, scattered around the bed.

Missy likes to get her body under the bedclothes, curled up. Or stretched out underneath, with her head on the outside near mine, like Chessie of C&O fame.

Both of the boys want to sleep on me. They’ll lie NEXT to Brad but me? They need to be on top. If I’m reading, Moose gets right up in front of my Kindle and I have to keep scooching him back. Later, he and Blackjack want to be on my legs. Blackjack is heavy and hot so needs to go. Moose isn’t heavy but because my legs are in this condition, I can’t have either one sleeping there.

Update on the credit union fiasco. Yesterday, I got a call from this Heather person. I told her everything about the conversation with that Ariana person, my friend and me (It was a three way call). She swears Ariana did NOT call her.One of them is a lying McLiar. I have the note that Ariana wrote and attached to the death certificate that she refused to accept. This Heather said all they need is the death cert because I AM the beneficiary. I told her that ARIANA HAD IT IN HER HOT LITTLE HANDS AND REFUSED TO ACCEPT IT. So, all I have to do it send it to Heather. It will go out tomorrow with Arianas’ note attached to it. (I kept a copy of the note. I’m old, not stupid) I’m also sending a copy of the notarized form that Ariana made me go get from the courthouse.

Side note: Want to know the two people couldn’t be bothered to go to the Dollar Store and get a sympathy card? After all of these years? I’ll give you a hint – both names start with Susan.
