Had to WFH recently. I’m on the phone, one of hubby’s kittens wants attention by wrapping himself around my ankles—I ignore him. He then climbs the back of my office chair and drapes himself across the back—I’m still ignoring him. Now he takes his paw and pats my shoulder—still ignoring him. He’s now tired of this so he extracts his claws and pats—-HARDER. Thank goodness I wasn’t on a video call and could mute…….
A friend of mine has Zoom meetings where people are encouraged to briefly introduce feline (and canine) interlopers during appropriate breaks in the conversation.
One guy in a zoom meeting I do every week has a cat, but all you see of it in his video frame is the cat’s tail gracefully floating around as it walks around the room. It’s very cool.
I have to put my cat, Truder, outside my bedroom and close the door. I might not have video on my side of the Zoom Church Service but the last thing I need is him meowing for more food (he’s had more than he needs) or accidentally clawing me as he begs to be picked up to my lap (arthritis, he can’t jump anymore).

He’s only meowing? I figured he’d be front and center, bathing himself for all to see.

The Mitten makes everything less boring and more fun. Let him meow.

I think The Mittens needs to hop up in front of Angie’s computer, lift his tail, and turn his back to the camera.

This is all very familiar to me :D. I suspect that the bedroom won’t be far enough away. #TheMittensmustbeheard.
