As a retired airline pilot, he would not like the constant turbulence that a flight across the Atlantic would provide not to mention the 8 to 10 hour flight time.
In case anyone’s interested, we had a cat I put into a carrier when she was still a kitten and drove around with her a few times. She grew up to be quite complacent about being driven around. Not that she would hang her head out the window with her tongue out, but she didn’t complain, and mostly just slept.

Sleeping on the top shelf of the closet provides smooth flying, comfortable seating and always arrive on time for food time.

Sleeping on the top shelf of the linen closet may be jet-setting, but I think it’s a domestic flight.

Wait until Mitty finds out he needs to go to the vet for the jab to be a jet-setter.

If you travel to a “rabies-controlled” country (as opposed to a “rabies-free” country), a cat may have to be quarantined 30 days or more upon return.
