Food on the floor along with cat hair, and whatever is tracked in. Yuck.

If he’s letting his food breathe, he’s not killing it very efficiently.

Perhaps The Mittens would like a fine, white linen cloth under his dish.

How dare you, Angie! He’s a very dignified eater.

Mittens eat with class.

My Ericka would push pieces of food off her plate and, being far-sighted, couldn’t find them. So after she finished, I would point to each piece of floor food one by one, and she would finish them off.

“Just you try eating without hands!”

Yea I feed mine in a bowl, but he prefers to scoop it out and it gets everywhere.

I feed my cat in a bowl for this reason. Still, she pushes much of the food to the far side of the bowl, where it apparently becomes inedible. When I pass by, I turn the bowl around and she returns to eating.
