Click-to-enlarge image can be found here (along with a description), or at the only work, by this artist, so far, to appear in Mr. Melcher’s blog (no cursor).Reclining Bacchante Playing the Cymbals (link shows Wikipedia page) is privately owned (auction record). The artist also painted a 1783 version. A click-to-enlarge image of it can be found here. Ignore the date currently listed there. 1783 is below his name, diagonally on the side of the bust on the right. It is easier to see if you interactively zoom in on the image in its most recent auction record, which identifies the sleeper as a faun. The prominent difference between the two is between the cymbals — no tall tree(s) in the 1783 version. He also painted a much smaller version; but its auction record (of actually 2 paintings sold as a set), while it has an image, has no date. The artist’s Wikipedia page (Google translated French Wikipedia page has more) and collection.
Look at where Bacchante’s left leg emerges from the body, especially the underside. It’s too low, even appearing detached. Can the artist have misjudged the proportions so badly?
