There was spring break when I was in grade school. Back then, it was called Easter vacation.

When I was young, we would spend my spring break on a house boat on the lake. I pretty much lived in my bathing suit that week.

Not unless mom and pop take one.

For me it was just a week off school, plus Good Friday. What my friends and I did that week depended on the weather.

We just finished spring break for k-12 here last week. It was rainy and chilly pretty much all week. Today, the sun is shining, temperature is rising and school’s back in session.

Yes. And it’s actually called Spring Break or Easter Break for a lot of us. Enjoy your youthful time. You will have plenty of time to see girls in skimpy bikinis and to “party on” later in life….

If only it were just Florida …

We didn’t have spring break. Our “Easter vacation” was getting the Friday before Easter off, then back to school the following Monday. Now, it seems kids are out of school more than they are in it, not counting when they were shut down for fraudci’s fiasco.

I think there is here. It’s timed for when the University has their spring break. It used to be three days long, but now it’s only one or two days.

Yes there is. But parents mostly have to work during that week which makes things difficult if both parents work. Way back in the day when our kids were going to school wife and I always worked on different shifts so that there was always a parent at home to watch the 4 monsters
