Happy to see our favorite GOComics back. Thanky you for your hard efforts/work. Missed you. At least they should offer Brutus a nice dessert with that late check. Like a 12 Oz T-bone?

@dcdete.- I thought it was just me! It WAS very disappointing not reading the comics, and bantering back and forth with folks while having my morning coffee! And ComicsKingdom is okay but not quite like GoComics.

Dadbert—living large at the 24-hour All-You-Can-Eat buffet.

Only Brutus Thornapple would eat at a place where the service is so poor he gets hungry between eating and paying.

Fortunately, for me, I eat at a buffet, so I can just keep eating while waiting for the check. Though with most buffets, you pay before eating. If Brutus is going to be ordering twice, he’d better seek out a buffet. But, for Brutus, dining out at a standard restaurant is the one luxury he gives himself.

And with Thanksgiving coming tomorrow with all its food and goodies, it must have been a long wait. Wouldn’t be counting on a big tip if I were him ….

Brutus gave that a lot of thought!

I’m with Brutus on this one. I don’t like having to track down my server to have the check brought to me and then again for them to take my payment, especially when I can see them standing at the back of the place joking with a coworker.

I had a very nice dinner out last night. We were almost there long enough to order another meal, but it wasn’t the server’s fault at all. She was excellent! We went early, so we didn’t take up a table that needed to be turned over.

Time for breakfast.

Slow eaters never leave.

Is that why Gladys is not present? Home in bed? Breakfast time?

And the cycle continues, Gladys is gonna put out a missing person report on him.

Brutus if you get up and start to leave you’ll find that it will speed up the waiter with your check.

Brutus had to wait so long for the check that it was time for his next meal.

Brutus is patronizing fancy restaurants more frequently these days. Did he get a raise? And what will his usual lunch dive do without him?
