Looks like it was Brutus’ turn to buy the donuts.

Maybe Brutus is stuck in the John.

I’m just paying attention to the chart, sales were up than dropped off again. How often would you buy a tea cosy?

We can’t, he is bringing the donuts.

But Brutus’ hairline is receding faster than a glacier.

slow and steady wins the race, Brutus may be slow but there is a reason he’s been around so long

But they call him “Brutus the Bullet” at quitting time.

Good things are worth the wait.

maybe it would go faster if it were in a cup… oh wait, glaciers move faster then. hmm… hang a tasty donut in front of him just out of his reach until he gets to the meeting. ;)

Brutus may be slow but he is reliable . He’ll be there .

I have to wonder if anybody actually told our luckless hero about the meeting…

This raises a question, though not necessarily interesting. On the conference table, where does Brutus sit? Being the senior loser of the firm, I guess he’d sit at the other end, farthest and opposite from Bossman.

You have to forgive him for the moment Chief, as he is closing a $10,000,000.00 deal for the company……

Brutus just likes to make an entrance. It’s the only way he gets any attention.

Veeblefester note to himself: “I forgot to tell Brutus about the meeting”…

speaking poorly of a subordinate is always a great way to motivate your other staff…
