I watch the Late Night shows when I get off the computer, then watch the early morning shows, then go to bed.

I watch the late night talk shows for the jokes. Gotta get more good laughs after a long day.

Uncle Ted could say “I love the smell of TV in the morning.”

The real problem is that the late night talk shows stopped being funny a long time ago

I record the Daily show on Comedy Central.

I worked the night shift for 35 years. I used to video tape the late night talk shows then watch them in the morning when I got home fast-forwarding through the commercials.

I had the TV on all night muted, it was thunder and lightning all night. I DID get the front lawn mowed before the fireworks. I mute my TV for T and L. I love it.

Yesterday the Thornapples, today the Newmans. How many more will forget the recipe for making ice???

I’ve stopped watching any current news or late night talk shows, nothing worth losing sleep over

Fox Sports airs Footy games live. Since I live on the east coast of the US and Melbourne is 14 hours ahead of us am I seeing the future?

Ted’s probably old enough to remember watching the national anthem and then sign-off

We will never see the likes of Johnny Carson. Loved that show!

Time shifting

One of the first things I did after buying my VCR recorder was to tape the New Year’s Eve revelry to watch it the next afternoon…

I haven’t watched those since Jay Leno left.

He’s better off DVRing some movies on Turner Classic Movies.

I’m just impressed Ted knows how to program a DVR or even knows what it is. Currently I am trying to program my Roomba.

I love Brutus’s look in the third – says, “Isn’t he something folks?” Or maybe, “Imagine a guy his age knowing how to program the DVR!”

It’s a good idea to record it, then you can fast forward through the political crap. On second thought, what’s the point.

DVR? At least Ted is keeping up with the times rather than using a VCR :)

Nothing but useless crap on late-night anymore. I’ve been watching reruns of Johnny Carson and NOTHING and NO ONE can compare to him. Plus the guests that he had on, at that time. Dom Delouse, Robin Williams, Angie Dickenson, Don Rickles, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Jonathon Winters, Rodney Dangerfield, Tim Conway, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Burt Reynolds, Rich Little, Jimmy Stewart, Dyan Cannon, Michael Landon, Robert Blake, Chevy Chase, Bob Newhart, George Carlin, Joan Embry from the San Diego Zoo, are just a few of the guests I have seen so far, since I have been watching. Who of todays ‘stars’ can compare to any of them?

folks in the boonies leave their TVs (called “terebi” in japan) every waking hour, the way folks used the radio in the old days. walk down the street on a quiet summer day and you can hear what’s on at that particular moment… ☺

I am definitely an outsider here. I don’t like to watch talk shows or the news. I read the news so I can skip over what doesn’t interest me at all, and otherwise I like to read books.

The weather channel gets most viewing around our neck of the woods.
