At some point in the early sixties, I ran sound for the Beach Boys at the Roller Rink in Alexandria, VA.
They called me (through my agent) at the last minute and I did the best that I could with the weak equipment that I had on hand. Everything else had been stolen in a burglary a week earlier.
Dennis Wilson was a major jerk and constantly complained and whined about everything. Everyone else was reasonable considering the circumstances.
If you are a musician, you can tell that most of the songs they sang live or even recorded were sung flat or sharp. Hurt my ears, but that was long ago.
Good guys in that era that I worked with were Rick Nelson and Tony Orlando. I would say more but I am saving it for the book.

Well she certain didn’t Stop! In the Name Of Love. She’s lucky she wasn’t caught by The Police. But she may yet be Wanted, Dead Or Alive.
